Carpenters Local 792 is affiliated with the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council. We represent skilled craftsmen and women in Winnebago, Boone and Ogle Counties in NW Illinois. Our trade and our Local are diverse, and our members include (but are not limited to): carpenters and joiners, floorlayers, acoustical workers, cabinet and millworkers, drywall hangers, scaffold builders, lathers, insulaters, pile drivers, siders, and solar panel installers. We build, install and work with wood, architectural metal panels, acoustical tiles, carpet, hardwood, resilient, and epoxy floors, shingles, siding, solar panels, and concrete. Carpenters Local 792’s mission is to protect the professional interests of our members, to encourage the apprenticeship system and to achieve the highest standards of skill in our craft.
